Abstract submission
Contributions should be presented as oral talks or posters. All oral or poster presenters are requested to submit abstracts of their papers to the Organisation Secretary by e-mail attachment to: biotech2009@unict.it and a copy to citrusbiotech2009@gmail.com not later than May 31, 2009. If you do not receive confirmation of receipt of your abstract, please contact the Organisation Secretary at biotech2009@unict.it. Final decisions about acceptance of papers for oral or poster presentations will be made by the scientific committee no later than June 30, 2009. Abstracts of plenary lectures, oral presentations and posters should be prepared according to the ISHS authors guide (sample.pdf) briefly presented below:
Maximum length: 300 words;
Typeface format: times new roman 12.
Margins: upper 2,7 cm, lower 3,5 cm; left 2,8 cm; right:2,9 cm.
The title must be in the first line in bold, capital and lower case for each principal word, the author(s) name(s) in the second line, affiliation and address in the third line and the presenter's name must be asterisked. Authors should indicate oral or poster presentation. For posters 70 cm wide x 100 cm long format is suggested. Facilities for their display on panels will be available on site.
Book of abstracts and proceedings
All abstracts are edited and proofed before printing by the Symposium Scientific Committee. Scientific contributions will be published in a proceedings volume issued by Acta Horticulturae. Instructions for the submission of papers will be found on Instructions to Authors.pdf or at www.ishs.org/wri/pap1.htm.
As requested by the Editor, all contributors are kindly requested to deliver their complete manuscripts to the Symposium desk as an MS Word 97-2003 document file (.doc extension) and as a PDF file.
